Last updated: 8 October 2026. This policy explains what information kiwitours.io handles when you read the site or contact us, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Kiwitours (https://www.kiwitours.io) publishes travel and destination guides. Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page.
Advertising and cookies
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and to other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (in the US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (in Europe).
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Ads will still appear, but they will be less relevant to you.
What the site itself stores
- No analytics and no account system. The site does not run visitor analytics, and there are no user accounts or comments.
- Your browser only. If you switch between light and dark mode or use the search box, your choice and your last five searches are kept in your own browser’s local storage so the site can remember them. They are never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Contact form
When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to our editorial inbox by email so we can reply. They are not saved in the website’s database. To prevent spam, the site keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for two minutes after you send a message, then discards it. We keep emails only as long as needed to answer and follow up, and we never sell or share them.
Hosting, security and server logs
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from abuse and speeds up loading. Cloudflare processes your IP address to do this and may set a short-lived security cookie. Like most websites, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type and time) for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. Send the request through the contact page and we will answer within 30 days. Residents of California can also ask us not to sell or share their personal information; we do not sell it.
Children
The site is written for adults planning travel and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
Guides link to official sources, operators and booking sites. Their privacy practices are their own; check their policies when you leave this site.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
